That's great! I couldn't play fps games for the life of me!

it helps speed/reaction time to certain things irl which could be useful. Such as sports, And being able to do little things such as saving something after almost dropping it. It can also help with overrall skill in gaming. in games such as call of duty, you need to be able to react to someone shooting at u or finding someone to shoot at. if you cant do this fast enough you'll end up dying fairly quick. i also find enjoyment in showing off to my friends. And in recent years, osu has gained popularity from the fortnite community for practicing aim.
Alot
Osu helps me find new music and kills time.

Besides, I had a love for music anyways, and it also helped me discover new artists and delve a bit deeper into new genres.

Perhaps it has benefitted me in some ways, but I probably didn't notice.

in general
  1. I've made a lot of friends bcuz of it
  2. I felt like I belonged in a community which was nice
  3. I started the game pretty young so as a result, I was given a lot of advice from much older players about life and I think it's made me wiser someway
  4. I got better at typing lul
  5. Got better music

mostly actual life stuff outside of games
actual game wise, uh i guess the game helped me improved my reaction time

I have been playing since I was 10 years old back in 2009. It hasn't helped me at all really, I suck at every other rhythm game, and in terms of other games I play like CS:GO there's no effect (because trying to emulate the same sensitivity from a 3d to a 2d game is hard).

If I DID have to say something though, I ended up meeting some pretty cool osu! people IRL in my university and in my local anime con...lol
choroi
faster at typing lmao
AnimeBoy_007
Reaction Time and Keyboard muscle memeory. i'm new though.

I think that almost everyone said the "aim" and the "reaction time" thing. In my case, is the same, but also, the timing at the moment of hearing some songs or music. I'm the bassist of a band, and Osu has helped me a lot with the timing.
[- Birdyx -]
On my day by day
It's helped for music listening, in some cases you can hear more than it sounds
Example: it's a beat and start to sound more instrumental stuff and by following the start beat you can difference and hear every part of the song exactly where it started, people don't care about that, but for a musician or a compositor its important, even for a osu mapper I guess
The fact is, osu help in many ways IRL, someone say time reaction and others typing or reflects
Well, this is my case
