Welcome to the Enigmatic Autumn Brawls!

This is a osu!standard 1v1 individual tournament for people in the rank range of 5.5k - 55k split among 3 tiers as follows:

- Tier 1: Ranks 5500 - 14999
- Tier 2: Ranks 15000 - 34999
- Tier 3: Ranks 35000 - 55000

This tourney will be using score v2, and will have only a double elimination bracket.

The first 32 players to signup in each bracket will be admitted entry into the tournament. Any and all whom we deem as a "cheater" or "suspicious" will not be allowed entry into the tournament. Those who sign up after the first 32 entrees will be placed on a reserve list. Note that failure to read the entire forum post during sign-up will place you into the bottom reserves list instead of the player list whether there is room or not, so please read the entire post first!

In this tournament we will be implementing an adjusted ranking system, where the number of tournament badges one has will affect what tier they would be eligible or "not eligible" for. Basically one's rank will decrease based on the following number of tournament badges:
  1. 1: 9%
  2. 2: 17%
  3. 3: 24%
  4. 4: 30%
    ...
  5. 9+: 45%

So for example, if you are rank 10000 with a badge, your effective rank is 9100. This effective rank is what is used for the tiers.

The discord server will be the source of pretty much all the information for this tournament, so if you're joining, either as player, staff, or even as a spectator, you'll want to join for all of the latest updates. (I'll apologize in advance if people are too..."meme-y" for lack of a better term. "Gay" would be more appropriate but uh, let's move on.)

For all of the details of the rules of the tourney, refer to the Information document here or in the discord channel. The discord channel and that document will have all the information you need, and the discord channel will be where future announcements will be made! So make sure you join the channel if you are participating.

To join this tournament, join the server and make sure you filled out the player registration form!

Note: This tournament is used to test out slight rule modifications hence why this tournament will not be badged.

Rules Summary

  1. Warmups during Bracket Stages may be no longer than 4 minutes, and warmups are optional when allowed.
  2. Players are allowed to ban 1 map each for each match (2 maps each from semifinals pool and onwards), alternating between the players with no restrictions except that each player must ban from mappool.
  3. Before matches will start, players will roll and the player with the highest roll with pick first and ban second. Picks will alternate as well.
  4. Players will be given at most 2 minutes for picking/banning each map. Taking too long to ban/pick will result in lost of ban/pick. Continued stalling will result in a disqualification.
  5. For free mod picks, each player must select at least one mod, picked from HD, HR, EZ and FL.
  6. All scores obtained using the EZ mod will be doubled.
  7. Should both players be at match point, or in other words should both teams be one point away from winning, the tiebreaker is played as the last map instead.
  8. Tiebreaker does not require any mods, however it is a freemod map.
  9. There are no restrictions on what a player can or cannot pick, besides the obvious must pick maps from the mappool for that match, and you cannot pick a map that was banned or already picked for the match.
  10. In the event of a tie during a map, the player who picked the map must select another map, and the map the players tied on cannot be selected again unless all other choices were selected. (If tiebreaker was the map that's tied then the map would be simply replayed)
  11. Both players are allowed to restart a map at most once due to disconnects and other technical issues. Same mods must be used should a restart commence. Try to fix any and all issues as much as possible prior to the match.
  12. The referees may nullify rules at their discretion if necessary, and have the final say in what occurs during the match.
