It's okay and with some good/catchy songs (and way better than Daron's scars on broadway project), but still steps bellow SOADs work.

And hmm, under no order and with a lot of bands missing

- The White Stripes
- Converge
- Your Demise
- Deez Nuts
- Death Will Come
- Trapped Under Ice
- Queen
- Radiohead
- Reality Slap
- Between the Buried and Me
- Tool
- King Crimson
- Pink Floyd
- Lou Reed

aaaaand that's enough

Oh yeah, there is a whole f*cking lot of artists I really like and listen to. There is a huge diversity between artists and all the different genres I like. It goes from classical music, rock and metal over to industrial, hellectro and almost all the core-genres to nightcore remixes, soundtracks of movies and video games and so on. There are so much different artists for every genre so it's really hard to name them all. But here are some examples:

Danny Baronowsky (he made the OST for "The Binding Of Isaac", a wonderful indie game)
System Of A Down (I still don't know what's it called. The music they make I mean. Some kind of metal I guess. I also like Serj Tankian's solo project)
Coppelius (they make a... um... "special" kind of metal with classical instruments. They're really good at it)
Hocico (I guess it's called electro indfustrial but I am not really sure)
Hatsune Miku (we all know her. Basically, she's not a real artist. But who the f*ck cares, I love her)
Unexpect (they also make... "special" metal if you know what I mean. Just listen to their music and you know why I cannot explain this very well)
Diablo Swing Orchestra (I guess this is called swing metal)
[X]-RX (industrial rave)
Angerfist (hardcore)
Komprex (speedcore)
Tschaikowsky (he's responsible for "swan lake")
Apocalyptica (cello metal)
Jeremy Soule (he's responsible for Skyrim's OST)
and so on.

There's a whole lot of artists I could display here but I think tis is enough to give a small view on what I like :)

I could make a healthy list of favorite Vocaloid producers. It's what I listen to mostly now. Before then, I was raised on thrash metal, so:

Early Metallica (until Load) [Of Wolf and Man]
Megadeth [Sweating Bullets]
Slayer [Mandatory Suicide]
SoaD [Chop Suey!]
Pantera [Hell Bound]
Anthrax [Crush]
Black Sabbath [Iron Man]
Motorhead [Ace of Spades]
Iron Maiden [The Evil That Men Do]
Godsmack [I Fucking Hate You]
Mudvayne [Not Falling]
~Static-X (until Cult of Static) [...In a Bag]
Rob Zombie [Superbeast]
Rammstein [Mein Teil]
Early Disturbed (until Indestructible) [Prayer]
~Slipknot (songs are hit and miss) [Left Behind]
Black Tide (newer band) [Shockwave]
Ministry [Stigmata]
S.O.D. / M.O.D. [Identity]
etc.

All ignored now because of Vocaloid. As far as metal is concerned, there's a certain line until which it becomes shit to me. I guess it would be considered Death Metal or Metalcore. (i.e. Cannibal Corpse, Suicide Silence, Dethklok... I hate these bands.)

Yousei Teikoku was the gateway into Japanese music for me.
