[resolved] Can't send scores or login

Problem details:
After the November 1st update osu! stopped sending scores (I don't exactly know if it's update-related, but it happened around that time - I restarted osu!, it updated and stopped working), I decided to log out and back in but it showed infinite loading. That also happens after a reinstall. It downloaded some beatmaps after the reinstall though.

This happened to me a while ago.
I fixed it by copying over my songs/skins/replays to a separate folder and then deleting my whole osu! folder (D:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\osu!) and replacing my songs etc after reinstalling.

Normally this should come from a server bug. Try to create another account and log in to see if this is not your computer the problem. Otherwise it had happened to me once I continued to play offline and the bug solved itself.

It was fine before, it just randomly stopped working. Also I don't think having multiple accounts is allowed.

Please switch to Cutting Edge, try to log in, play a few maps and then provide your network.log file in osu!/Logs

When you reinstalled did you manually remove all files or just uninstall using windows?

I originally just moved the files and reinstalled it, now I tried doing it using windows and it still fails

From what I can see in the logs, your login was successful. Perhaps you should add osu! to be allowed through the windows firewall or if any antivirus you're using.

I don't use neither, and it worked before. The login still shows infinite loading.
I guess it's worth mentioning I'm currently on vacation? Maybe osu! ip banned me or something?

Or maybe the network you are on is giving you issues. Is it a public/shared network? Were you having any issues before?

Also if you haven't explicitly disabled your Windows firewall, it will most likely be enabled.

It isn't a public WiFi and I didn't have any other issues. Either way, the problem is fixed after changing the router (because of switching to fiber) so maybe it indeed had something to do with it.

my issues regarding the error were that on taiko mode my score aren't going online as compared to when I played osu standard, I was doubting if it was due to me playing several taiko maps when I was offline?
I haven't re-installed yet since a part of the score submitting still works but I want everything to work haha

plus!
if I retry on either standard or taiko, the error box shows up that I'm using a way too old version, but I just use a fallback version and as mentioned above my osu standard can submit scores if I finish the map.

edit: if I play an old-played map on taiko and scored higher, it does get submitted and updates on the global score.

edit2: the error only happens to maps I downloaded today since I just resumed osu-ing today haha, I tried those maps most recent to what I had downloaded and they all work fine.

Your issue is unrelated to this one. Fallback is an old build. Score submission for maps ranked after October 22nd was disabled. If you want to submit maps ranked after that date you will need to change your release stream to Stable(Latest), Beta, or Cutting Edge.
