Welcome to Technique! It’s an experimental osu!standard 2v2 tournament for players with a global ranking of #50.000-100.000. This tournament differs from others because of it’s mappool. It is mainly consists of technical maps, which are pretty hardcore. So, this tournament is definitely not for players who like farming
A team has to create a Team Vs & Score V1 lobby and invite another team. Captains of both teams should use !roll to see who’s gonna be the first to ban and pick (there’s 1 ban for each team). Disclaimer: if you won !roll then you should wait until your opponents will choose a map to ban before picking a map. When your match finishes, copy & paste match’s link in Discord
Before registering, you must be familiar with the mappool. Do not apply if you can’t complete a single map in the mappool without NF.
There will be no warmups. Use the time given between matches to warmup.
You can overrank by 3k w/o getting disqualified after you're registered.
You will be allowed to play the tournament if you underrank.
There is a maximum of 16 teams.

Round 1 is BO3 (first to 2)
Round 2 is BO5 (first to 3)
Semifinals are BO5 (first to 3)
Finals are BO7 (first to 4)
Disclaimer: if we don't get enough teams to make a tournament at least somehow playable then we'll rework some things and extend registration phase.

Disclaimer: It is the only time when mappool is reavealed from the very beginning, because it's an experimental tournament and we have to be sure, that you understand, which maps are going to be there. From experience I would get, I'll understand how I can make mappool better and in the future it'll be only out after registration phase.
Beatmaps were chosen and tested by me and FoidzaFlow and are all passable without NF.
There are 9 FreeMod maps and 1 Tiebreaker. That means that you can use any mod you like or go full NoMod throughout the whole tournament (hint: use NF wisely). A FreeMod map is longer than 2 minutes, but not longer than 4 minutes. Tiebreaker is more than 5 minutes
