  1. Why is your BPM '177.995'?! Switch it to 178.000 BPM, please. It sounds almost identical but it's the true BPM. It's very rare that somebody would use a BPM like the current one you have to make a song.
  2. There are two .osb files in the folder when at maximum there should only be one. Delete one of them, or even better, both since you don't even use a storyboard.
  3. The second combo color in your pattern is le very awkward, for it has no relation to either ran or chen's character designs, nor the current background you have. Remove it, please? It's starting to hurt my eyes >:
  4. Remove 'Project' from the tags. Yes, I understand this is a remix of a song from the Touhou Project, but just having Touhou as the source is good enough. Also, if you could find the singer of this song and/or anybody related to making this song, perhaps add them in the tags?
  5. I am very confused about your difficulty names. Please stick with something simple; please! Currently you're mashing up three different ways to name difficulties in one and it looks pretty bad. How to improve it, you say? Rename relaxing to normal, and then rename Izayoi's difficulty to something that at the least uses his/her username in it. If not, at least make it something related to the song, like 'Chen!' (( Only use that as a last resort, though! ))
  6. 00:00:536 - Seeing that BonkuraChan starts her timing point here, may you concider doing so for all of your other difficulties? Look, I notice how his/hers starts earlier then yours, but still, it's nice to have consistency.
  7. The MP3's fadeout is pretty rough.. I suggest re-editing the MP3 and making the fadeout AT LEAST five seconds, or from where the final spinner is till the end (( where it fades out from 100% to nothing )).

Hitsound Mods

  1. Where are your hitsounds?! Silly, hitsounds are one of the big things that makes osu!.. well, osu! I would HIGHLY recommend that you AT LEAST add in finish hitsounds whenever you hear a finish in the BGM like at 00:05:929 -, 00:16:716 -, and 00:31:548 -. Or, if you want to give your beatmap some character and spice it up, I suggest that you should add a custom hitsound and use it at the beginning of the map whenever you hear a sound like the one at 00:06:604 -. (( 00:07:952 -, 00:09:300 -, etc etc. )) Here, i've got one right here for you! Just drag it into the beatmap's folder, turn on 'custom 1', and then add a clap hitsound to whenever you hear that noise. If you would like any other tips, chat me in-game. I'd love to help you improve your hitsound patterns.

Combo Mods

  1. 00:36:942 (1) - Your combo pattern during the kiai is a bit confusing. I can't tell if you're trying to add a new combo every time 'Ran' talks or not. Either way, I will put both suggestions out here. If you want to place new combos whenever ran talks in this kiai section, and this is most likely your best option, add a new combo at 00:34:245 - and 00:39:638 - since there is already one at 00:36:942 -. If you really don't want to do this, and I mean with all your heart, then remove the new combo at 00:36:942 -. Yes, I am highly suggesting the first option.
  2. 01:14:864 (5) - Perhaps add a new combo here? This slider is following the only thing possible, the BGM video game-like music, and since you're not following Ran's vocals anymore, this is a good place to add one.
  3. 01:18:740 (4) - This combo pattern is a bit confusing. You're adding a new combo so early.. but I can work with this. If you add a new combo at 01:18:740 -; for there is a pitch change within the singer's voice (( it gets lower )) and it's on the downbeat.
  4. 02:23:461 (5) - Add a new combo here? It's a downbeat, and you placed almost the same exact combo pattern as i'm suggesting at 01:18:740 -. Plus, the combo's getting pretty long.

I suggest for you to remap most parts just to space it out a bit more and use 1.00x distance spacing. (( You Currently Have 0.80x ))

Hitsound Mods

  1. As I mentioned in Relaxing, (( which is pretty hard to miss since it's the only thing i've put there in the Hitsound Mods )), may you please replace the default clap for the beginning section with the one I gave you? It sounds much better. To adjust it so that it can work for this difficulty (( considering that you are using the soft hitsound instead of normal through most of this difficulty )), just copy the mp3 file and then type in exactly this: 'soft-hitclap' .
  2. 00:32:897 (1) - Add a finish to accompany this whistle since there's one in the BGM?
  3. 00:32:897 (1) - I get what you're trying to do with this current hitsound pattern, but trust me, by doing this you're overusing the whistles and it is going to get extremely agitating to the player. I suggest that you only add them on in this kiai when chen actually says the 'uu' noises. For example, I would only add a whistle on 00:32:897 -, 00:33:234 -, 00:33:571 -, and 00:33:908 - and I would remove the whistles at 00:33:065 -, 00:33:739 -, 00:36:436 -. Get what i'm saying by remove the excess whistles?
  4. 00:40:987 (1) - Another missing finish as indicated in the BGM~ Add one?
  5. 00:42:335 (4) - ANOTHER missing finish as indicated in the BGM..~ Add one?
  6. 00:44:020 (1) - Your clap hitsound pattern is way off. Instead of what you have currently, you should be adding claps at places like 00:44:020 -, 00:44:695 - and 00:45:369 - (( etc etc. )) I suggest using the custom clap for this part. It sounds way more fitting then the default.
  7. 00:48:403 (5) - I personally think you should add a finish here instead. Why, you may ask? Well, it's because you're currently placing all of your finishes to that weird sample in the BGM. Right here, there are two of them in the music, so yeah. add one?
  8. 00:49:751 (2) - Same thing as I mentioned above.. but this time it's your choice. You can either replace it with a whistle or a finish. ^^
  9. 00:59:189 (6) - The same thing as I've mentioned at 00:48:403 -.
  10. 01:00:538 (2) - Same thing as I've mentioned at 00:49:751 -, too.
  11. 01:09:302 (1, 2, 3, 4) - These all should be finishes instead of claps, as indicated in the BGM. Add them in and replace the claps, please?

  2. 00:42:335 (4) - Mmm.. add a new combo? The singer is currently speaking as ran and suddenly changed from addressing chen to addressing her master, Yukari. Plus, it starts on the downbeat!
  3. 01:03:572 (7) - This combo is getting awfully long.. I suggest that you try to shorten it by adding a new combo here since the singer took a quick pause.
  4. 01:08:628 (4) - There's an emphasis on this note in the BGM. Plus, I don't know why exactly but this combo pattern (( blue combo )) feels too awkward for me as it is long. Add in a new combo to fix things? <3
  5. 01:14:864 (6) - Yet again, it seems as if you're following the video game-like BGM music! Add in a new combo?
  6. 01:25:314 (6) - There is an emphasis in the BGM that lands within this pattern. It doesn't exactly feel correct to add it in with the previous combo pattern, so hows' about you add a new combo here?
  7. 01:59:022 (3) - Oh, fun, more emphasis found within the BGM. New combo for all of the reasons i've said before on some of the emphasis mods i've listed above?~
  8. 02:15:371 (6) - This combo pattern doesn't exactly fit with the previous combo it's currently attached to. Add in a new combo here for emphasis reasons, it being on the downbeat and it simply looking better?

  2. 00:10:986 - This upcomming section (( Placement Of Notes )) Is Straight Out Weird/Awkward. Maybe you can make it better by placing a note where I expected ( 00:10:986 - ), removing the next beat, then move over the slider so that it starts at 00:11:323 -?
  3. 00:09:975 (2, 1, 2) - Try to not make this pattern so cluttered, please? Maybe you can try spacing out the second (2) from the original (2)'s sliderpath and adjust spacing? ^^

  4. 00:18:065 (2, 3, 4) - First off, (3) and (4) overlap a bit of (2)'s sliderpath, resulting in the gameplay looking messy and yucky. I suggest for you to space these out AND add a note at 00:18:065 - to get a proper flow going on with both the vocal and the BGM.
  5. 00:19:413 (1, 2, 3, 4) - Add some curves to this pattern! Everything is so boxy the way how it flows, resulting in bad flow and not-so-good-looking gameplay (( think aesthetics! )). Perhaps you can re-do this pattern to follow those two items?
  6. 00:22:447 (2) - It's not necessarily good to do blankets if the spacing is too squished together, which it is in this case. Please space it out so that it doesn't look messy in gameplay.
  7. 00:23:627 - Why don't you add a note here? It's awkward with a gap right here because the tension in the music is building up.
  8. 00:24:469 (1, 2, 3) - This isn't quite a good transition. Perhaps curve (1), then adjust the pattern slightly before it and after it to get some decent non-linear or boxy flow?
  9. 00:25:818 (4) - Since this is supposed to be the easiest diff in the entire mapset, can you remove a repeat from the slider and then add a note where it would've originally ended? It currently, being passed off as the easiest difficulty, could be unreadable for easy/normal difficulty players.
  10. 00:32:897 (1, 2, 3, 4) - Perhaps you can retry positioning these notes into a somewhat less linear pattern that starts at the top left of the screen and curves down into the big slider (( Something Like This. ))
  11. 00:35:593 (1, 2, 3, 4) - Like I said above about curving the 'stream'. (( Yes, technically this can still be considered a stream, I checked my music terms ;) )) Try something like it so you get a smoother curve and better looks in gameplay.
  12. 00:38:290 (1) - This looks extremely cluttered due to it being positioned directly near the last two slider's ends where their 300/100/50 hitbursts would be and you would see it appearing there while still playing those sliders (( 1 )). You don't exactly have to do this thing in the image, but try something like it. It's more appealing in gameplay.
  13. --- FROM THIS POINT ON, YOU SHOULD KNOW EVERYTHING I'M GOING TO MENTION. BASIC AESTHETICS, PARTS THAT NEED BEATS FILLED IN, AND AWKWARD SLIDERS. SINCE THIS IS A GENERAL MOD, I JUST GAVE YOU A TASTE ON GENERAL THINGS YOU HAVE TO IMPROVE. ---
  14. 00:49:245 - Why is there a break here? It's in the middle of the section, there are still vocals identical to what you basically just mapped, and it's extremely awkward. I highly suggest that you remove it and map over it~ >v<
  15. 01:26:999 - Another break that has no reason whatsoever as to why it wasn't mapped over. Please correct this and map over it stat, please!
  16. 02:43:808 - Looks like here you have an unsnapped inherited timing point! Re-snap it, please? As insignificant as it may sound, it's very important.

Having two orange combos consecutively can make it kind of hard to tell when the combo changes.

Modder Comments

Slider velocity so slow for a hard mode :( - yet i can't go out and say I recommend you increase it. 1.0 is better than 0.8 snap but will ruin your patterns. This is just an annoying difficulty to mod in concept as all of the things that will make it better ruin something else. The difficulty grew on me after awhile and I got used to the speed but some sliders just still felt way too slow. Maybe this song would benefit from some moderate slider velocity increases here and there.

00:05:931 (1) - Seems kind of odd to have a crooked slider right at the start. Fix the spacing afterwards too.
00:18:066 (3,4) - Sliders are so slow :(

Edit: Sorry if my mod wasn't very well. I was spending a long amount of time in the editor and by the time I decided to mod this, I was not thinking the clearest. Here's some general things that I think you should at least look at in Hard. I'm not touching Isayoi again...

1.0 works well for the fast parts of the map and makes the sliders I complained about being slow seem not so slow, which is an improvement. However the slow intro up to the spinner feels rushed. I think you should space a lot of the intro to 0.8 which will simulate a 0.8x section without actually having to slow your sliders any more than they already are.

00:24:133 (4,1,2) - You should fix this overlap.
01:02:560 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - Ugh I just have to make a comment that I feel there's too much clicking here.
01:05:257 (1,2,3) - Spacing is not equal
01:12:672 (4,5,6) - Perhaps a repeat slider. I don't think the single notes look the greatest and you don't have much area to place them. Also spacing with the next combo is unimportant. You don't need to keep it the same.
01:22:448 (1,2,3) - Spacing should be equal
01:30:537 (2,3,4) - Shouldn't it be placed proportionately to 1? http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/328854
