How to remove sparkles / effects in gameplay

Sometimes in the middle of the beatmap I'm playing sparkles from the side and from the bottom show up and cause me some lag and takes away my focus from the circles which it's very annoying

Anyway to remove it? I didn't found any option on settings about that kind of effects

Replace star2.png in your skin folder with transparent file.

Nah, it'll use star2.png of standard skin this that case.

Huh? Have you done something to star.png? Change only star2.png
