I'll use beatmaps I tried to improve my score in yesterday as an example.
1st try: I complete the beatmap, but don't get a full combo.
2nd-3rd try: I get a full combo.
4th try and onward: I can't complete the beatmap and I progressively fail sooner and sooner.
20-30something try: I finally manage to improve my top score somehow.
I switch to another beatmap and get similar results. Just without the score improvement.
Both beatmaps were ones that I had played before.
Such a sudden drop in performance is really frustrating and odd. Do I start to focus too much? Am I zoning out the music? Is there any way to avoid that loss streak?
I'd be glad if you guys could help me figure out this problem. Have you experienced anything similar?
