So whenever I look at people's top plays, I usually see people DT-ing maps that are impossible for me even though I should be able to do that since they are usually only a bit higher than me in rank. But the only mod I can use is HR, and I find it impossible to play 2 star maps with DT, HD and FL. So what I would like to ask is if you play with these mods, how did you learn to play and get used to them? Instead of play more, please elaborate, thanks.

I agree with J-1. Start with maps you can read the AR of. Also the idea that "you should be able" to do something because someone else at a similar rank is doing it is simply a false idea.
