Hello and welcome to intermox's Improvisation Tournement for ranks 45k - 90k
This will be an Osu!Standard tournament for 32 participants.
This is a complete nomod tournament. Mods are not allowed.
Every participant playes for themselve not for a team.
This is a Scorev2 tournament.
Every player has to join the discord server related to the tournament for upcomming information. That means that everyone who doesn't join the discord can not participate in the tournament. Please make sure your discord name matches with your Osu! username to keep organization more easy.
Registration:
If you want to registrate as a player make sure you have enough time on the sceduled days. Not showing up will put you on a black list for future tournaments.Sign in by commenting your rank in the forum and join the discord server.
The rank limit is a hard cut so make sure you don't overrank.
If you want to join the staff or be a referee please contact me on discord but then you are not allowed to play in the tournament.
Match format:
The tournament is devided into two stages. The first one is a quallifier round and the second one is a single elimination bracket.In the quallifier round the 32 participants will be devided into 4 groups of 8 players. These groups will be anounced when the registration for the tournament is completed.
The quallifier round will start with the referee inviting you into the multiplayer room.
There will be no warmup.
The map to play is not decided by the players but by rolling. For this the first player in the multiplayer room will roll a map out of the mappool by typing '!roll 50' in the chat. (You are unlucky if you are not familiar with the type of the rolled map.)
The referee will choose the map based on the rolled number.
Then the game will start.
The top four players will get points based on their places on the map (1st place: 5 points, 2nd place: 3 points, 3rd place: 2 points and 4th place: 1 point).
The next player will roll a map and so on.
If a number will be rolled twice the player needs to roll again. Maps will not be played more than one time during one match.
After 8 maps are played the match is finished. If there are not 8 players in the room the referee will roll for the last maps.
The top 2 players of each group will advance to the next round on Sunday.
The tiebreaker needs to be played when there is a tie between 1st and 2nd or between 2nd and 3rd place (it can be played anyway but it has no effect on the final points).
In the single elimination bracket the matches will be played 1v1 in Head2Head.
Alternating rolls will decide the map. (Each player will roll 3 times at maximum very similar to the quallifier round.)
The tiebreaker will be played when the score after 6 played maps is 3:3.
The player who gets 4 points first is the winner of the match and advences to the next round.

Quallifier round at 14:00 UTC+0 September 29 (Saturday)QF will start at 14:00 UTC+0 September 30 (Sunday).
SF will start at 15:30 UTC+0 September 30 (Sunday).
Finals will start at 17:00 UTC+0 September 30 (Sunday).
Information on the mappool:
The mappool will be anounced 30 minutes before the tournament starts. This is enough time for everyone to download the maps but not to play all of them.There will be a different mappool on each day.
The pool has 50 maps + 1 Tiebreaker on each day.
Star rating will be from low 4 to just over 5 Stars.
Ar will be from 7 to over 9.
Map length will be in the range from 1 minute to 5 minutes.
BPM is from 87 to 268.
There will be alternating and jump maps, maps with streams, a lot of sliders or reading maps, old and new maps, farm maps, completely unknown maps and very special ones.
The tiebreakers will be the only maps that are known from the very beginning.
