Recently, I was playing host rotations which are mostly 2-4* in multi. Although I have got some good plays, I don't know if this will affect my skill. So, is multiplayer good for improvement?

Yes, playing osu! is good for improving at osu!
not really, idk, idle times are pretty long when waiting for other players.
yes, because you are challenging other players. Therefore you might perform much better than in solo.
