Hello there! Welcome to :thonking: Standard Tournament, where almost everything is just copy pasted from the last mania edition

Introduction

All players have to join the Discord server (It will also show us the interest in the tournament)
This is a osu! tournament.
This is a 1v1 single elimination tournament.
The player's rank must not exceed 4 000 (i.e, 4000 is correct, 3999 is not) during the registration and during the tournament to participate in the tournament.
Staff members (excluding mappool selectors) can play in the tournament if they meet the rank criteria.

September 23rd : Registration ends
September 29th-30th : Qualifiers stage
Ocotber 6th-7th : Ro32
Octoboer 13th-14th : Ro16
October 20th-21st : Quarter-finals
October 27th-28th : Semi-Finals
November 3rd-4th : Finals

Rules

Qualification stage

The qualification stage will be used to seed players into 4 categories, Top seed, High seed, Low seed and No seed.
The mappool consist of 5 maps that are going to be played twice
The best attempt of each map will be used to calculate the Total Score of players
The 32 players with highest Total Score will ge throught qualifiers, the others will be eliminated
If there is less than 32 players, the tournament will continue as if there is 32 players (adding fake players)
The players will be organized into groups based on the times they put on the Form. The players inside a group are not facing each other, as their Total Score is what is used for the seeding

Elimination stages
The Elimination stages will proceed as follow :

The referee will create the room 10 minutes prior to the match time and immediatly invite the players
If the assigned referee(s) didn't create the lobby by match time, do a Discord ping to the assigned referee(s) and Sinaeb, if you get no answers after 5 minutes, do a ping to all referees
When both players are in the room and it's match time, the match will start
If a player is missing, a 10 minutes timer will be created and if the player is still not showing, the player that is present will win by default
If both players are missing after the timer, the match will be remade when both players are avaible (until the round ends) If the rounds ends, both players will be eliminated
When the match starts, both players will do a !roll 100 to determine the order of picks, the player with the highest roll will get first warmup, first ban and first pick.
The warmup must be downloadable with osu!direct, osu! map and be no longer than 5 minutes
After the warmups, the players will have 1 ban of any map (excluding tie-breaker)
After the warmups, the players will pick maps alternating with each other until one player reach the required amount of points to win the match
If both players reach the required amount of points -1, the tie-breaker will be played

General rules are just general, they may change at any given times given circumstances, if you have a question about the rules, ask Sinaeb
Every rounds of the tournament uses ScoreV2
Ro32 are Bo7
Ro16 are Bo7
Quarter-Finals are Bo9
Semi-Finals are Bo11
Finals are Bo13
Players and Staff members must respect each other
Players and Staff members that misbehave will be warned, if the misbehaving continues they will be removed from the tournaments
Players that fails to respect the rules will be placed on a blacklist blocking them from participating in other tournaments hosted by :thonking:
