that true most vocaloid song get people emotional but thats one of the things that I like about them
My favorite Vocaloid song would have to be the first one I heard. Servant of Evil by Len Kagamine.
First song I heard and I was amazed how it was. So I followed the story based on the song; Daughter of Evil, Servant of Evil, etc etc etc (You know the rest)

Megurine Luka's Leia. Or Megpoid Gumi's Cosmos.
I actually like these two Vocaloid and songs about equally, maybe Leia more.
That said, I don't like Vocaloid a lot, I just can't get over how synthetic some voices sound (specially Miku), yet often the arrangements that come with said songs are epic enough for me to not completely dislike them.

I'm actually a have pretty big collection of vocaloid songs (50GB+), if anyone wants I can link them to a 100GB discography torrent (you can selectively choose which album you want to download as well).
Anyways, my favourite has been alternating alot, but recently Cosmica by GUMI and Packaged by Miku have been my favourites.
As for why, its because they're so uplifting, I judge them based on replay values as well...

I only like Vocaloid if the voices are used properly. I think the songs are very good, but usually I will prefer a human cover if one is available. I guess 2 composers I like are Kikuo and sasakure.uk.
