[Archived] Osu uses 1.2GB of RAM and almost all the cpu on menu

For some reason osu suddenly uses 1.2GB of RAM and uses almost all the cpu (90%) on a I5 Processor.
And this is on the main menu. What is going on?
Is like a memory leak happening somewhere?

Try disabling most of these options.

How much memory do you have in your system, and what CPU?

it only started to happen like a month ago, i had no issues before that
I haven't made any hardware or big software changes.

I have 8GB of RAM and I have a Intel Core I5-4210U

Have you tried testing this only with osu! opened or you also had other programs opened as well?

with other applications open, but task manager reports osu alone using 90% cpu with 1.2GB RAM usage

Does this still occur when you are using the default skin (assuming you are not already)?

it still happens with the default skin selected

edit: Okay i think i fixed it. I reinstalled osu (that didn't fix the problem tho), but then i had to delete a beatmap i had since that was causing the issue. Osu now only uses around 200MB of RAM
