Occasionally osu stutters. The song goes back and forth rapidly therefore making me mess up. Is there a fix to this. I have already:
-Turned off shader cache in nvidia control panel
-Turned on reduced framed in settings

I use a Gtx 1050 ti and a Ryzen 5 1600x

You can try these two things, surely one of them should be able to help you.
The first one:
  1. Open your osu! installation folder (right-click the osu! icon on your desktop and select "open file location"
  2. Find "osu!.db", move it to your desktop.
  3. Restart osu! and it should process all your maps and the stutter should disappear.

If that helped you, you can just delete the old "osu!.db".
If it doesn't help you, move "osu!.db" back to your osu! folder and try the second solution.

The second:
  1. Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard.
  2. While holding Shift, double click the osu! icon on your desktop.
  3. Continue holding Shift until you see the recovery dialogue prompt.
  4. From there, click on the "Repair osu!" option

If you don't have a shortcut, make your own desktop shortcut:
  1. Search "osu!" on your windows task-bar, right-click it and you'll see an option that says "open file location".
  2. Right-click it again and you'll see "Create shortcut".
  3. Then just drag it to your desktop and follow the steps above.

I did both but I still experience stuttering

Has that ever been reported to work? That sounds like nonsense and if it did help fix, it likely was unrelated.

Someone had a similar problem before, and he fixed it with that method, the only difference is that the sound was distorted.
