It's weird how original accounts are counted. A number of original UIDs were saved for bots, used to scout the internet and track stats and stuff (not in game bots, but internet spiders and bots). I don't think they are there anymore since the software has gone signifigant changes in its time from its original phpbb software. After that, a few of peppy's friends helped test the game and get the word out.
