https://tefltrainerspain.com/2012/12/17 ... h-friends/I also would be good at english if i didn't had to learn absolutely everything from myself without anyone telling me if i'm wrong or not.
I leave the school as soon as i could because it was real shit, teachers were really stupids what couldn't get a better job due to don't get a better grade, and the same year i leave the school i get my general certificate of secondary education after study by myself.
This country educational system is probably one of the worst in the world. Obviously there are some good teachers, but they are weird to find. Here they give you the question of the tests the day before the final test, so you can pass it and everybody happy, because kids don't have to study, teacher don't have to care about teach and help the kids, so they can use whatsapp, and be "good" teacher. If you ask seomthing they don't know about, they say shit like, "because the book say it" or "because i'm saying it and i'm the teacher"
http://www.expansion.com/sociedad/2018/ ... b45f2.html The dropout rate in Spain is 80% higher than the European average
The countries where the education is one of the best are the following:
-Finland: Being a teacher there, is really difficult. Importance for each student. Good habits for learning.
-Japan: Also good habits. 0% illiteracy. School dropouts less than 2%. Basic requirement: high school degree.
-South Korea: the learn about 9 areas (maths, Korean, English, music, arts).
3. Statistics & Facts
-Spain has the highest school dropouts of the EU. (22.7%)
-There's no money enough. The 80% of it is given to the teacher's salary.
-Bad marks in general. Most of the students try to get a 5. (a 5 is the 50% of the test made right dosn't matter you say on the other 50% Hittler was the president of U.S. you still being able to promote)
-In consequence the teachers are demotivated. Also they don't have the knowledge enough for teaching.
-The students try to pass an exam and then they forget what the were studying.
-Low level in basics subjects than the rest of the EU.
On the last few years Spanish education experienced some cutbacks which made in 2012 the country in the top 5 where there were more cutbacks in Europe. The money invested here decreased 6.8% (Europe 1.1%) GDP for education was 4.5% instead of the average of Europe which was 5.3%
I got 130 C.I. and i did learn nothing from teacheres in more than 10 years in school.
Imagine what happens to kids with 70 C.I.
They can't speak Spanish properly.
Also they treat you the same you're getting S on test over and over than getting D. And what is the worst, the teacher give the book leassons to teach everyone at same time, that means if a mentaly disabled kid is learning how to multiply you will have to listen to it over and over, instead keep learning.
The teacher only tell you what it's inside the books, and i was in 2012 and we where "learning" from a 2001 book xD.
Everything was memorice. Inclusive maths. So no one could answer a problem what already has been made in class, even saying the same but with other words.
You can just search in google and find articles like the ones i link, from more than 20 years ago to today talking about this and similar stuff.
So go ahead and make fun of me and think you're a smart ass because i mistake a word.
