Leftover audio playing at the results screen.

Hello, a map of mine is currently in the works. However the audio file itself is around 4 minutes long, which is a full version. I found a stopping point at 2:27, but after completing the map and being directed to the results screen; the leftover parts of the song kept playing.

Is there any way to disable it, or at the very least, crop it down without damaging the beatmap?

You can cut the rest of the music in a program like audacity.
-Cut Audio.mp3 from beatmap folder
-paste to desktop
-load audio.mp3 into audacity
-crop down to your mapped section, nothing else
-export audio.mp3
-place into beatmap folder.

If you calculate it properly then this shouldn't do any harm to your beatmap, although its highly likely your timing points will be a few ms out of sync.
I recommend making a backup before you do any of this, you can export the beatmap by clicking on File (top left) "Export Beatmap".
