For some reason every skin that has an @2x texture doesn't work properly and replaces the textures with default textures pls help

Version command is not the version of the skin, it's the generation of the skin coding. invalid versions and 1 don't use @2x elements. Set 2.5 to Version.

Umm... sorry but that didn't really explain what i have to do properly. Could you rephrase it?
CTRL+O -> Skin -> Open current skin folder
find skin.ini
under General, type the following:
Version: 2.5
if you already have Version, just change the value to 2.5
save, reload using CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+S

Didn't work, the @2x textures are still just default in game. Its kinda like the game is not seeing the files because they have @x2 at the end
What resolution are you using? @2x images will only appear if the height of your game is 800px or above.
If you want to force osu! to use these images even if your resolution is below that requirement. Close your game, inside your osu! folder edit the file "osu!.pcname.cfg" in notepad, set the line "HighResolution" equal to 1, and save.
