A few weeks ago my game/computer started acting up; it would play fine for an extended period of time, then would go from 250/250 frames all the way down to 10-15/250, rendering itself unplayable. I would reset my computer and everything would work fine. I thought maybe some background programs were screwing with osu!, so I didn't think much of it.
Then, it got worse; I could only play for 5-10 minutes before it would start losing frames, so I did a massive clean-sweep of my computer: I checked for viruses, cleaned my registries, deleted a ton of programs, and disabled all of my background processes/antivirus.
Nothing seemed to work. I ran some diagnostic tests on my computer; CPU checks went fine, GPU checks went fine, temps are fine, everything seemed fine.
And then, I replaced my memory, and it worked perfectly for an entire day. Went to bed, woke up, now it's doing the exact same thing as before. It'll run fine for five minutes, then lag until I reset my computer again.
I'm not entirely sure if anyone here can help me, but better to ask than to never know. Thanks in advance, you guys.

Memory: Patriot Viper 3 Series, Black Mamba, DDR3 8GB
