A proton pump is an integral membrane protein that builds up a proton gradient across a biological membrane. Proton pumps catalyze the following reaction:
H+
[on one side of a biological membrane] + energy ⇌ H+
[on the other side of the membrane]
Mechanisms are based on energy-induced conformational changes of the protein structure or on the Q cycle.
During evolution, proton pumps have arisen independently on multiple occasions. Thus, not only throughout nature but also within single cells, different proton pumps that are evolutionarily unrelated can be found. Proton pumps are divided into different major classes of pumps that utilize different sources of energy, have different polypeptide compositions and evolutionary origins.

- The focus is on the Switch right now, so there aren't many new games being made for the 3DS. This causes prices for the 3DS to drop due to the loss in demand. This means that you can get most (if not all) games for less than $40, with most of them being between $20 and $30.
- Multiplayer is still a thing for the 3DS, so you can play your games online.
- The cheapest 3DS right now is $80, 27% the price of the Switch. Easy to get started.
Anyone else hear somebody talk about 'good animation' in anime? I'm 90% sure most don't have a clue what they are talking about and only talk about it because it makes them sound informed and good animation is an objective good.
The amount of people who praise still images and digital after-effects as good animation pisses me off. As well those who focus being smooth and on-model rather than technicals bothers me too.
