What books have you read the past year ?

I'm not a big fan of books but I'm willing to start reading a lot during this summer, the problem is that I don't know where to start !
So I would appreciate any request :)

The Unexpected Guest by Agatha Christie.

I don't know what genre you like so I'm recommending what I enjoyed. It's a very thrilling book, have fun :3

Two really good ones come to mind:

Call of Cthullhu by H.P. Lovecraft, which is about a man investigating a cult worshipping an ancient cosmic deity prophecised to flood the earth. It's a little slow, but I found it highly intriguing beginning to end.

The other is The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, which is set during the great depression and centers around an ex-con and his family traveling to California To find work after they lost their farm to the bank. I highly recommend both.

I read that too earlier this year. Very good book, perhaps one of my favourites.

ascent of gravity by marcus chown is great!! but i'm not sure if you're a fan of physics

A bunch, mainly political biographies and philosophy, but I also read "Start with why" by Simon Sinek, which was pretty nice

I was reading the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, but have taken a break to read the fan english translation for the "My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected" light novels.
