Congratulations to the winners of the first iteration of Conyoh Cup, squid squad!
GGWP to all teams, we hope everyone enjoyed the tournament and experience with their teammates.
We hope to see as many of you as possible in the next iteration, take care everyone!

Conyoh Cup is a standard 4v4 tournament for all stages where the dynamic of this tournament is that players sign up individually in order to be drafted onto teams that will compete against each other.

This is an international osu!standard tournament consisting of 8 teams (could increase to 16).
This tournament will be played 4v4.
This tournament will be played with Scorev2 and Team Vs.
There will be a Group Stage followed by a Double Elimination bracket where all teams will advance regardless of performance in Group Stages.
The Double Elimination bracket will start with 1st Place teams playing against 4th Place teams; 2nd Place teams against 3rd Place teams. Teams from the same group will not be pinned against each other in the first round of bracket play.
The rank range is 1,000 to 5,000. The rank buffer to sign up is between 950 & 5,100.
After registrations close you are free from rank restrictions.
In order to participate, players will sign up individually.
Players will be seeded by rank.
All players will be required to join the discord server in order to verify registrations.
The current player cap is set at 64 (assuming we reach that many signups). This means that there will be 8 players per team. We will expand the player cap up to 128 players, if there are enough sign ups. (Thus, either 64 players spread across 8 teams or 128 players spread across 16 teams)
Players who are eligible will be placed in a pool which they will be selected from during the drafting phase.
On each team there will be a captain which performs each selection for their team in the drafting phase. Captains will be chosen by staff after sign ups close.
The primary criteria for the selection of captains will be based on player's tournament results & tournament activity (more details about this later).
In the case that a decision cannot be made by staff, the next best criteria that will be utilized is rank.
The 8 captains will randomly be assigned a number between 1-8. The captains will then pick one player from the player pool, taking turns in numerical order.
The draft phase will follow serpentine format which looks like this:
1st Round: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

2nd Round: 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

3rd Round: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
And so on until every team is full.
The amount of time given per pick ("on the clock") is 1,5 minute.
The draft phase will occur privately. Only for staff & captains to see.
Each stage will last one week each.
All match times are in UTC.
The tournament schedule/amount of stages are subject to change in the case that 96 signups are reached.
Staff are allowed to play, except for host, co-hosts, and mappool selectors.
If you sign up for this tournament, you are agreeing to potentially be chosen as a captain. You will be held responsible for drafting, however, you may hand over the captain role to a teammate after the draft is completed.

Group Stage

There will be warm-ups.
The mappool will have 5 NM, 2 HD/HR/DT, 3 FM, and 1 TB.
Each team will have one ban.
It will be Best of 9; first to 5 points will win the match.
Each group will consist of 4 teams each; each team will play every other team in their group exactly once.
The record of each group will determine their seeding for bracket play.

RO8, Quarterfinals & Semifinals
