Concept and Rules

The concept of the tournament is simple, 15 players (and 1 referee) will perform the LMS SE style eliminations, single life, no coming back, all in a single lobby and one match. The catch is that I will curate a pool that you have to play in sequence, so the pools are hidden and everyone knows the maps at the same time as each other. Sometimes this will play to your advantage, sometimes it will not. The idea is like the well-known game, PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, hence the name! Only the final player can be the victor for that weekend. You must be Rank #1-#5000 to register. This is to ensure that you can properly play the maps presented to you. Maps will be from 5 STARS AND ABOVE! This is Season 2 of Taiko Battlegrounds, Season 1 may be found here.

In this weekly tournament, it's a 1 day affair, occurring at two rotating times on each day, decided a few days in advance based on the participation rate of different countries, rotating each weekend. This makes it so that all places around the world can sign up, but differing conveniences depending on the times you are available. You can sign up for either, but be wary of the times you may have to play! Considering it is a single match, please make sure to know about these times in advance! Matches will last around 2 hours, so make sure you are available!

In Summary, 2 Groups of 15 Players will play on Saturday and Sunday, there is 8 weeks of themes and the final week will be a culmination of all winners competing! Please sign up below, and only sign up for the day which works best to you! Walk-Ins are welcome too!

Rules are standard, applying from LMS:SE, however, we will be using SCORE V1 for this tournament, so please be aware of that before signing up.

Hi guys, thanks for playing this week. A small turn-out for both weeks but fun ones anyway!

Winners were Babysnakes and uone

This weeks theme is "The Frank Wang Experience"! What this means is our good friend Legless is going to guest pick all of this weekends pools! We'll be overseeing to make sure they are quality, but all the choices will be made by him! This is his first time picking, and note that he has little experience with taiko! Should be interesting :)

Hello! Taiko Battlegrounds is going to be taking a week off to focus on bringing you a more quality experience for the final week of preliminaries. As such, there will be 3 matches 2 weekends from now, instead of 2 and then 1. We are going to hopefully bring a really exciting concept, so please tell your friends to get ready for it when we announce it! Thanks for all the patience.

Week 6 winners were : vladyushko and Ppus! Thanks for playing!

Hello, as many probably guessed, we're doing a special edition of Taiko Spin Off for the last week of Battlegrounds. Please note that there are 3 sign-ups for this match, 2 on Saturday at 13:00 and 21:00, and one on Sunday at 11:00! No formal sign-up is required, I just request that you show up. Sign-Ups are available too however. We will be pulling from all over to make sure these last 3 matches will be full.
