Welcome to the Arcanus Tag Team Cup! As spring comes to a close, and summer is right around the corner, Anfang and myself, Kasumii-sama, have decided to kick off this new season by hosting a tournament for for ranks 5k+. This will be a 1v1 scoreV2 tournament which will have up to 128 teams and will have two stages: the Qualification Stage and the Double Elimination Stage.
- Qualification Stage: Teams will will play 5 maps twice in order to determine seeding and the top 32 teams into groups.
- Double Elimination Stage: At the end of the qualification stage, the top 32 teams will move on to the Double Elimination Stage, where as it name suggests, players will be seeded into a double elimination bracket. Matches will range from Best Of 7s to Best Of 13s.
- Rank range is 5k+ You have to be within this rank range (so not over 4999) at the end of the signup period, or else you will be disqualified. Players can reach rank 2.5k after regs end before being dq'ed.
- Touchscreen players are not allowed to sign up.
- This is a Score V2 tournament.
- All matches will be reffed.
- If a player drops connection in the middle of a map, the map can be replayed if the other team consents.
- No hacking (duh.)
- This is an international tournament, so anyone and everyone can apply, as long as you fit the rank range of course.
- The hosts and admins reserve the right to remove any player from the tournament if he is deemed too much of a nuisance and/or the player's account is too suspicious.
- All timings are in UTC, unless otherwise specified.
- The Grand Final will have a bracket reset if necessary.
- The losing team in the roll bans first, the winning team picks first
- For the Double Eliminations Stage, each team will get 2 bans each.
- This tournament will start on the 2nd of June, the following are the tentative schedules:
- 27th May: Registrations Close (may be earlier depending on when we reach 128 teams), Qualifiers Mappool Release
- 2nd June: Qualification Stage Starts
- 9th June: Double Elimination Stage Starts
- Note that the whole schedule procedure is tentative and may be subject to change.
- Change your discord username to your osu! username and join the tournament discord using the link below. Get your captain to type the osu! usernames (with ping) of all members of your team in the registrations channel (so do it only when all members have joined the server) and the admins or hosts will give you the player role.
- Teams can have up to 3 players, but matches are played as 1v1.
- Registrations will end one week before the start of the tournament.
- Registrations are currently CLOSED.
- If you would like to apply for staff, join the discord and pm either myself or Anfang and we'll sort you out.
- Mappool will have 6 Nomod, 3 Hidden, 3 HardRock, 3 Double Time and 3 Freemod, with the Tiebreaker, except for the qualification stage.
- The tiebreaker will be freemod as well
- The allowed mods for freemod are HD, HR, FL, EZ and SD
- 1st place: PENDING profile badge + 3 months of osu! supporter per player
- 2nd place: 2 months of osu! supporter per player
- 3rd place: 1 months of osu! supporter per player
