[Archived] BUG - 'warning of modified files in osu! root folder' · forum

Actions made:

* Went to multiplayer
* Played few games in osu!
* Went to another group and download, as usual, the new song in the chrome
* While playing the song rage quit by double pressed ESC
* Closed osu! by going to the main menu and clicked QUIT button
* After 8 hours opened the game. Showed me the notification that I MODIFIED files in osu! folder

The catch is that I don't even know where the osu! folder is.

well, the osu file (if your using windows) us under %AppData%>Local>osu!

for me, sometimes it tells me this, but usually nothing has really happened in my experience. if you want, you can take a look at the folder just search %appdata% in your windows search bar.

Yea, I would find it if I needed. The point of my last sentence is that I didn't modify anything and it still says it so. What means - it is a bug in the game. And yes, I use Windows.
