It will be work in progress until the creator gives up on it (which he might have, since I haven't seen any update recently) or when osu!lazer is finished.
The hitsounds seem to the be the default playsounds.

Y'know, there are simple solutions to this problem. You don't need to fault the creator for that. Just use this program on the skin's folder and afterwards it should work on SD resolutions as well.

If you want to easily convert any skin to SD you can just run this program on the skin's folder. That way you don't have to ask the creator to add SD themselves (although they should tbh).

In the past, I received the skin file along with an acquaintance's explanation that the skin was the official skin of osu lazer and uploaded it with various additions and modifications.
like adding meh-good-great hit lighting, resize font, new reverse arrow etc,,
But now, when I watch your video, the file I received from my acquaintance is the looks like same as the file you created.
