[Archived] HELP! Clicked a random setting. NEED RESET SETTINGS

I was trying to go through my settings and then I slipped and clicked onto a random setting for the game's screen. Maybe the brightness?? I don't know because, I couldn't see! Now my OSU game screen is just black, but I can still hear everything and the game works.
It's just that everything is dark as heck!

What do I do??? Is there a hotkey that can reset this or what

Here are two things you can try:
  1. Update or reinstall your graphics drivers
  2. Keep the shift key held while starting osu! until a recovery dialog pops up. If the "Compatibility Mode" box is checked, uncheck it and start the game normally. Otherwise, hit the "reset settings" button.

I am using porting kit rn because I'm on a mac, would it still work the same??

The second bullet should still work the same.
