[Archived] Osu corrupted itself mid-game, resolution locked, HELP ME

Problem Details:
MY PC IS LOCKED AT 720P WUTFACE
So I was multiplaying with my friend, osu fucking crashed, my pc crashed along with that.
I launched osu! to see something saying like "your songs got corrupted we are starting from scratch"
I accidentally checked off the openGL button as I was going through settings, even though the openGL button isn't even a thing anymore.

My osu game looked a lot more glitchy and broken than it does in the picture.

There are a few reasons your graphic driver install could be failing. Try running the installer again but this time select "Custom (Advanced)" and "Perform a clean installation" to see if that fixes anything.

After you've done that, hold shift while starting osu!, make sure you keep the key held and a recovery window should pop up instead of the game. From there, change your release stream back to latest.

If you are still having trouble with your graphics drivers, that same recovery window should give you the options to switch the game back to DirectX which you can use until your other situation is figured out.
