sign-ups for a 64-player tournament are half filled! really nice progress for only 2 days. glad people retained interest in 1v1 competition <:

We'll discuss it and come to a conclusion on v1 vs. v2 before the tournament begins. Both systems have benefits to them that can't really be decided by one person alone.

We'll be closing the registrations on March 24. We have roughly 50 slots open. Score (For now) is 40 votes for Score v2 and 30 votes for Score v1. The vote will close on the 24th as well.
If we don't hit at least 100 participants, the tournament will go on as a 64-player tournament, meaning the cutoff will be at 6,210 pp (as of today)

Due to the sheer number of players / matches now enrolled in the tournament, we had to result to two things:
1. The group stage will now be held over TWO weekends. On one weekend, you'll be playing 2 games, the other weekend, you'll only be playing 1. This is to maximize efficiency and also to make things more manageable.
2. You won't be allowed to reschedule group stage games. Apart from extraordinary circumstances (hospitalizations, funerals, new ascendance map comes out, thepoon snipes beasttrollmc, etc), all of these times are final and cannot be changed. Feel free to complain as you wish, though.
We are still looking for referees. As of right now, players are not technically allowed to be referees, but I've talked to tournament staff and are discussing the possibility of that being changed due to the sheer amount of matches compared to how understaffed we are. So If you are a player and are willing to help referee, please @ me so I can list you down as someone that can help, even at a later date

Congratulations to AutoLs for winning! A great congrats to - N a g i - and YERTI for getting 2nd and 3rd (And DreStar for 4th), and a huge thanks for making this finals week super competitive!
