I don't know if this has ever been asked before, but wouldn't be better if the host could pass the power to choose maps to other players without putting the whole room in their hands? 
I'll try to explain the concept better: sometimes multiplayer rooms "crash" because the person who got the host won't pass it in turn to others or he must leave his computer for a problem in real life, shuting down the game for everyone.
Therefore I suggest to leave the Host power to the owner of the room, who can still give it to someone else if he wants also; but adding an option to give the right to choose maps to other players, in order to make "Host rotation" rooms work without any problem.
