Some things would be slightly different.

HP: HP passively goes up instead of down. Every time you hit a fruit, your HP drops by a certain amount (The higher the HP drain, the more you lose).

Star rating: Star rating is calculated by the number of fruits on screen, same as regular ctb except hyperdashes are tweaked slightly.

Hyperdashes: "hyperdashes" in dtb are red colored zones that give you the speed boost necessary to move out of the way of incoming fruits that would be impossible to dodge otherwise.

Score: Score is the reverse of mania v1. Every time you run into a fruit, droplet, or big droplet, your score is reduced by a set amount. Score starts at 1,000,000.

Accuracy: Running into a fruit counts as a miss, running into a big droplet is the equivalent of a 100, running into a small droplet is the equivalent of a 50.

Combo: Combo has no bearing on score or pp.

Mods: Mods are slightly changed. Hardrock increases CS and AR, making the fruits harder to dodge, while EZ decreases CS and AR, making the fruits easier to dodge.

What's described in that thread is different than my idea of dodge the beat.
