I've been noticing that a lot of times, I miss jumps not because of my aim, but because I lose my rhythm when facing a peak in aim difficulty. I tried to play Autopilot and noticed my acc was actually much lower in AP than in nomod.

Simply put, how do I separate my aim from my tapping?

You can’t. This game requires you to use both in tandem

But you can train one or the other by finding maps that are easy in one respect and difficult in the other so you are focusing most of your attention on one skill

You can't/shouldn't. Play more.

In order to detach your hands' actions from each other you have to perfect synchronisation to a degree that each hand is so trusting of the other one being on point at the accurate time that you can put one of your hands on auto-pilot and the other one does whatever shit.

you shouldn't, you will learn to feel your aim, acc better, and synchronize both even in difficult situations properly over time.

should help with uhh...

480bpm alt maps or whatever (hand synchronization is super important on flow stuff ;;)

Listen music.

Play technical maps with odd spacing and/or that requires more than your standard metronome tapping.
