[Archived] OSU asks for updates all the time. Is it only me?

Problem Details:

OSU asks me to restart in order to update. This happens almost every time i log in. Is OSU having updates every day? or is it only me? Also now it says i cant log in because my version is obsolete. How can that be posible if ive been updating?
Does someone know what's going on?

Try downloading the client here https://osu.ppy.sh/p/download and installing it again on top of your current existing one. The client may be outdated enough that updating doesn't work properly. Other problem could be due to permissions.
