I was a terrible mapper when i uploaded my first 2 beatmaps..I really badly want to delete them so I can upload the ones I've made now. Their only about 2 weeks old. I've made about 10 more since then. A lot of really good ones..Can someone PLEASE tell me how to delete them. They are annoying and they'll never get Ranked due to suckiness....So...Please  :( I just want to upload better ones....PLEASEEEEE and thank you :3

You can wait 1 month since your last update (and if there are no replies in the thread), then your map will go to the graveyard and you can upload new ones.

This could become a feature request: possibility to delete your own pending/WIP maps, but only as long as no posts were made in the thread?

The reason why we only allow ppl to upload 2 maps is because we want people to be serious about their submission and not waste bandwidth. There is no point to the rule if you could delete the beatmap after you submit it for any reason.

Late, but this.

If you don't like your first maps, take this as an opportunity to go and remap those maps, making your best maps yet! I did that a few times when I was starting out, and it's really not that bad.

You COULD remove the mp3 file replace it with a completely different song on the map you don't like and just rename and replace everything (i.e. background, storyboard, notes, etc) in the osu! editor, remap it, and then FULL SUBMIT the map, making it LOOK LIKE you upgraded your map, but you didn't really. Not sure if it actually works though, I never tried it myself. I just thought about it. I personally don't recommend doing this though. The MATs/BATs and peppy will kill me XD

But hey, it does SAVES bandwidth doesn't it?

Hi,

Deleting maps would save bandwidth too but, just like the procedure you described, it's not allowed.

I wouldnt suggest anyone to do this, it would make their map nuked immediately by the BAT and forced to wait a month anyways.
