What difficulty should I be using right now?

Hi my names Neil and I started playing osu more than a month ago and I would like to ask based on all the things I have gotten what difficulty do you recommend me to do (e.g. Normal, Hard, 1 star, 2 star etc.) I have started to try out some insanes which all i of them not being able to finish it and for hards I can do most of it.

Play that.

The ones which you find playing the most comfortable but still has a challenge(probably 2*)

Play everything.
Starting from stuff you barely passing, to stuff you can easily SS.

Try finding what you are comfortable playing. Then, play maybe 0.5* above that. If you just keep playing what you can play, you are never gonna progress.
