Depends. We've had ovens long before toasters so us heating up bread to a toasty temperature was easily possible. But did we refer to it as "toast"? Dunno. Don't care enough to google around but whether or not it was referred to toast b4 the toaster was invented does lie the answer.hoihoisoi wrote:
