Problem Details: osu! is crashing on start-up. I open up the game, the logo pops up of course, the screen darkens a bit as it usually does and a dialog pops up saying "oh no!". I figured if I right click it shows the errors.

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

osu! version: 20171227 (Latest Build/Stable)

Restart your computer if you have not already.

Hold shift before starting osu! until a recovery dialog pops up and select "repair osu!"

I have restarted my computer twice and I have tried the repairing feature but neither one has worked. Do I need to change my "Release Stream" or anything like that?

Release stream probably won't make a difference, try Compatibility mode first.

Otherwise, try updating or reinstalling your graphics drivers.

Updated drivers before making this post but I'll try the compatibility mode. If all else fails, should I try and update windows? I have an update in queue.

Nothing has worked yet..

Try removing the osu!.db file from your osu! folder and then starting osu!.

Didn't work. It's fine I guess. I'll see what happens if I wait a day or two.

Edit: Although it isn't recommended to uninstall, to fix my issue i decided to uninstall.
