In-game, I can pm commands to BanchoBot, or literally write them in any #channel and they will work, so I don't have to clutter the chat in #multiplayer. However in IRC I have to write them in #mp_xxxxxxx.
Is there some secret way for commands to work outside #mp_ in IRC?
Obviously it's not a big problem, not even a problem at all, I'm just curious.
