Sure about the repeat? By the time you have to hit the second repeat, the hit burst is fade out enough (due to the fact the slider is long, thus a long time before hitting the repeats). I didn't mention this since I felt mentioning the rule was enough and didn't see anything about how long a slide length must be for this rule to apply. If slider length does matter, please add it to the rule for less confusion.Derekku wrote:
Only for short/kick sliders (e.g. 1/4 or 1/8 ones). Regular-length sliders must have all of their repeats visible.Jacob wrote:
[Faust's Normal] has a slider with the second repeat hidden. I thought that only the first one had to be visisble?
Also, due to the long slider length, you have a big amount of time to react so even if you didn't see the repeat the first time, you have a chance to see it the second time when it become even more visible. Just to prevent confusion, when you hit the first repeat, you know you have to move your cursor back to the begin so more than likely, you'll be looking at the beginning at least once.
There're other factors like memorization and listening to the music which can be apply here. Fine if this is change, but if this was one of the reason why it was unranked, I cannot agree.
I would like to know if the repeat in normal is truly unrankable and if so, please edit the respective rule in the current ranking rules & guidelines. About unrank, I won't say anymore more about it since it's already unranked.
