[Archived] Need help to understand pp (kinda)

I little while ago i was at 2222pp, so i got a 126pp whort play (that was weighted 86% so 108pp)
but my pp rank only get up to 2244pp
i only have a 2 scores at the song (the one with S and fc and a B with 89,84%)
The B rank didn't get me any pp so why did i only get 22pp from my play?
can someone explain that to me
(sorry for bad english and if it's a stupid question sorry i'am noob)

PS: the A rank is recent (26m ago)
the screenshot is recent too so a little more pp than specified but still not 108

When you made that new record, you pushed down the list all your previous records that were valued less, so now they give you less pp than before.

yeah but i had no scores that were whort any pp before the S
just the B one

He is talking about the other top plays on other maps.


The other scores you had below this new one have a lower weight than before. For example, the play worth 119pp was weighted at 86% before, giving you 102pp. It is now weighted at 81% and only gives you 97pp.
