[STD] Arcanus New Year Blast 2018 [2.5k-25k 4v4] [Closed]

Welcome to the Arcanus New Years Blast 2018! As 2017 comes to a close and 2018 is round the corner, Espalza and myself, -Engel-, have decided to kick off the new year by hosting this tournament for ranks 2.5k-25k. This will be a 4v4 Score v2 tournament which will have up to 32 teams and will have two stages: the Group Stage and the Double Elimination Stage.

Group Stage: Teams will be divided into groups of 4 and will play in a round robin format for 3 weeks. Matches will be Best Of 7s
Double Elimination Stage: At the end of the group stage, the top 2 teams in each group will move on to the Double Elimination Stage, where as it name suggests, players will be seeded into a double elimination bracket. Matches will range from Best Of 9s to Best Of 13s

The discord will be the most updated and accurate source of information and help, so please ensure that you and your team are in it; the link can be found below under registrations. Other links like the Spreadsheet and Twitch stuff will also be put up on the discord.

Rank range is 2.5k-25k, We will allow a buffer zone of 1500 after registrations, meaning the maximum rank is 1000. If you go above that, you will be disqualified. You have to be within 2.5k-25k at the end of the signup period, or else you will be disqualified.
Touchscreen players are not allowed to sign up
This is a Score V2 tournament.
All matches will be reffed.
If a player drops connection in the middle of a map, the map can be replayed if the other team consents.
No hacking (duh.)
This is an international tournament, so anyone and everyone can apply, as long as you fit the rank range of course.
The hosts and admins reserve the right to remove any player from the tournament if he is deemed too much of a nuisance and/or the player's account is too suspicious.
All timings are in UTC, unless otherwise specified.
Each team can only substitute out a maximum of 3 players between maps. This is to prevent a team from fielding 2 different lineups within maps.
The Grand Final will be one match only and the team that comes from the Winners Bracket Finals will have a one point advantage going into the Grand Finals.
The losing team in the roll bans first, the winning team picks first
For the Group Stage, each team will get 1 ban each.
For the Double Eliminations Stage, each team will get 2 bans each.
This tournament will start on the 20th of January, the following are the tentative schedules:
13th January: Registrations Close (may be earlier depending on when we reach 32 teams), Groups Drawn and GS Mappool Release
20th January: Group Stage Starts
10th February: Double Elimination Stage Starts
17th March: Grand Finals
Note that the whole schedule procedure is tentative and may be subject to change.

Fill up the registration form using the link below
Change your discord username to your osu! username and join the tournament discord using the link below. Get your captain to type the osu! usernames (with ping) of all members of your team in the registrations channel (so do it only when all members have joined the server) and the admins or hosts will give you the player role.
Registrations will end one week before the start of the tournament.
Registration priority will be given to teams who register completely - by filling up the form, completing #registrations and having all members on the discord. Even if you registered early but fail to meet any of the above criteria, your place may be given to a team who registered later and meets all the criteria.

The mappool will be a freemod pool
3/4 of the mappool will be normal freemod and the other 1/4 double time freemod
The tiebreaker will be freemod as well
Mappool will start with 6 Freemod and 2 DT Freemod, with the Tiebreaker; and will increase in size as the tournament progresses
The allowed mods are Nomod, HD, HR, FL, EZ, NF and SD
