I've looked up videos, I've tried almost everything. I guess beat mapping isn't my thing.
But I still want to beat map. Any help with something would be nice. I have no experience really.
If anyone could show me the ropes, I'll be forever in your debt.

Hi there!

Starting off is always the hardest part but that's no reason to instantly abandon all hope~
I don't know which resources you've looked up and which you haven't, but >here's a list of useful guides & links< that might help you out or point you in the right direction and you can check out >pishifat's osu!mapping videos< which expand better on specific mapping topics.

Don't forget: Nobody masters mapping overnight! Everyone starts off with the basics and eventually learns more and more as they continue working on what they enjoy. I'm afraid I can't help much since I'm not exactly an experienced mapper myself.

P.s. You posted this on the forum that's meant for Storyboarding related questions and discussion. For anything about mapping, you should refer to >this subforum< instead next time.
