I don't think this is a game. :P

I *might* buy it, but I don't like how the battery life got destroyed. ;-;

The fact they are going to have special software for just the DSi pisses me off.

Now I'm probably going to have to buy one.

If I can play Guitar Hero: On Tour without a Guitar Grip, I can play those silly camera games without a DSi. It's all up to whether someone feels like creating a patch or not. <_<

I'll :3 if it turns out that it saves images as .bin files.
Taizun_old
I want one :D if I get rank #1 by the time it comes out, you all have to buy me one. Jk, but still, it looks pretty coo.
Banon_old
Why is Nintendo's marketing scheme to piss off customers?

I mean, no GBA slot come on!

And just like lukewarm said the new software pretty much says you have to buy it.

At least its only $150US.

maybe this time they make the GBA only played by downloading online on Nintendo Store
and some sort like that...

Now that I think about it, there IS already a camera for the Slot-2 (Face Training). If a lot of good camera games appeared, third-party cameras for use with flash carts would probably appear on the market, potentially bringing loads of people with a tight budget over to the dark side. :D

Also, when the Lite was released, a new version of FlashMe was created, allowing Phat users to switch between four different brightness levels. Maybe the DSi will give Lite owners the new DSi features, too.

I was going to wait to get one of these, but then I realized:
Out of the four available GBA-compatible devices I have, one is utterly broken.
Two have their "R" shoulder button fucked up to hell.
One is painted silver, then had most of it taken off (blame my friend, she did that when she owned it, before she gave it to me). That and fucked up to hell battery space.

That basically means I no longer have reliable means of playing GBA games, save for the GBP that lies untouched on the bottom of my GCN. A DS-type device would be extremely useful, especially because I don't have any next-gen devices (all I have at the moment are GCN, PS2, and GBA/SP). I see the new device, and it looks useful at first glance.

Then I see the bottom. I'll take a Lite, thank you. Camera <<< GBA compatibility to me. I don't care about aesthetics (unless it breaks my "R" again).

DON'T TELL ME "No More GBA Slot" MEANS THE END OF GBA COMPABILITY!!!

I hope that means the GBA cartridge can be inserted in the DS SLOT!

You have no idea how crappy the Wi-Fi compatibility on the DS is. Downloading a GBA game could take up to an hour, and I seriously doubt Nintendo would allow you to download things from your PC. Besides, unless they create some sort of heavily modified GBA BIOS, it would be pretty much impossible to run the games at full speed, and if such a thing was planned, it would probably already be announced.
