Anyway, although I still think that him fishing for my role was suspicious, I find Mashley and KRZY more suspicious as I think the mafia would perceive Mara as a threat.

Actually, to be honest, I don't think being demotivated would be helpful to the one that got targeted at all. Instead of getting a proper result (like, doctor protecting someone), they get a poor result (having the doctor not be able to protect/accidentally kill their target).

There's always the possibility that Mara can get whatever result he wants on a person. I think this is unlikely though because of the result he supposedly got on me which still doesn't make sense to me.

The interesting part is the fact that when Salvage died, he flipped "Mafia? Follower" which could mean that he wasn't even a part of the mafia at all.

About Mara's "investigation" on Hitter, he did state earlier that he needed the amulet of light in order to sense "auras" properly. We know he doesn't have the amulet of light so we don't even know if we can trust the investigation. While Hitter being cryptic about his role does bug me, I don't think there's a reason to jump on him unless we have solid evidence on him.
