Here for M4M!
Note that all of these are suggestions, so feel free to only accept what you really want to.
I'm also really,
really obsessed with variations, so don't hang me if I tried to hard on this one, okay?
01:07:131 (56) - this don is really weird to me; I'd rather change this to a kat because of the very noticeable, high piano note
01:30:249 - maybe add a don here, I feel like this would help the ongoing flow a tad more than a (forced?) pause just for the sake of variation (if that was your intention)
01:38:014 - I don't feel that there is a reason valid enough to justify this variation, it seems kinda out of place to me; I'd go with moving 01:38:102 (230) - to this red tick and maybe switch up some patterns instead (maybe something like kd kd on the first doublets and/or dk dk on the second, etc.). the finishers in this section should be enough to give a feeling of variety going on here.
01:48:955 (295) - I'd change this to a kat to amplify the pitch of the rising melody here
01:54:073 - 02:16:661 - (first kiai):
I had fun analysing this part, so I just wanted to point out some things that came to my mind while doing so:
- patterning didn't really matter much to me, I noticed that you varied a lot here so I didn't bother to try and find more optimal stuff (all gucci if you want to call it like this)
- what I focused more on is the note placement tho. after quartering the kiai and playing around, I thought of something like this:
- since the song is relatively repetitive here, I think that the first and second quarter should play the same (or, at least, very very similar). there is not much lost when doing so, since you variated enough inside those quarters itself to sustain a relatively good flow.
- since you did variate a bit more in the third and fourth quarter overall, I don't think there is anything major that needs to be changed, at least not in comparison with the first half.
idk, I just wanted to give this a closer look, so I did. you can either care or not, but this is what I made to compare the parts:
SPOILER01:54:073 - 1 8-- 5--/1 9---- 4---/1 2 5 2 1 /16------------/ 01:59:631 -
01:59:720 - 1 8-- 2 2/10---- 5----/1 2 5 2 2-/16------------/ 02:05:279 -
02:05:367 - 1 2 5 2 2/9---- 1 4---/1 2 5 2 1 /1 2 2 8-------/ 02:10:926 -
02:11:014 - 1 2 5 2 2/1 2 4 1 1 1 /1 5 1 3 1 /8-----(3)2(3)2/ 02:16:573 -
02:16:661 - 1
by doing so I also just realized that the thing that bothers me the most is 02:03:867 (408) - this note; take everything I said above as reasoning to delete it (that was so much useless stuff only for that note haha holy shit)
if I only were this productive with my uni stuff 03:24:426 - 03:47:014 - (second kiai):
I found this to be kind of lazy by you when comparing it to the first kiai, where you variated almost every bit of music although the song becomes very repetitive on its respective parts. I just think you could do a bit more in terms of patterning, since it's also noticeable while you're playing the map, which gives off a feeling of staleness (at least to me).
Again, this might be me just overanalyzing things, but this is what it looks like if you note it down:

04:35:014 - 05:42:779 - (third kiai):
same thing as above, playing the same pattern over and over again gets kind of stale and boring after a while. imo it would suffice if you just changed the patternings of the second kiai and ctrl+v them over where the duplicated parts are. you can also leave the parts that are not copypasted as they are, since they fit into their respective section very well; the duplicated patterns are what bothers me the most.
Just so you can see what I mean:

All in all I wanted your map to be less boring towards the end, since I had the impression that you got really lazy after your first kiai. If this was your intention though, the only thing I can say is that it would be a waste not to variate more when you can, bc your possibilities are literally endless, especially if it's kiai-time. Besides that I found your map to be pretty solid already, maybe after this mod you just have to look for a few more tweeks and optimizations (considering that you care to accept my bigger issues with your kiai, that is).
Note that I didn't give any suggestions on how you should change your patterns, bc I think this is something you should change yourself, as I'm pretty sure you're very able to do this yourself.
I hope I could somewhat help, and I really hope you can get this map ranked!
