  1. 00:05:818 (4) - ok this definitely deserves attention but the slider shape is pretty off relative to the rest of the map, especially in a calm section like this. i think its a bit too wonky since its introduced so early, and the fact that its pretty similar to 00:52:040 (5) - even though this one is kiai and the other one isn't doesn't make too much sense to me
  2. 00:20:040 not a big deal but ignoring the bass and piano here is pretty bland
  3. 00:33:818 (3) - moving this to the previous red tick and making it repeat fits the song better, i dont see a good reason to skip a beat
  4. 00:50:040 (7) - deleting this note would make it a lot more interactive with the vocals here, and you ignore it on 00:53:151 too so
  5. 01:06:262 (1,2) - you could make these a slider instead, gives more attention to the vocals and compliments (3,4) well

It's under 2 stars but I've had some problems in the past with the lowest difficulty being considered too dense due to having a large amount of 1/2, even when the BPM is around 128. Personally I don't really mind, at least the difficulty isn't boring

00:43:151 (3,4,5,6) - Are you sure you don't want to follow the lyrics here, I sort of see the build up thing you're doing but in my opinion it would be more effective rhythmically to continue following the lyrics like you have been doing

00:50:040 (7) - This could be deleted, it would add a bit more emphasis to the lyrics, and would also make the pattern a little less dense (which could be good or bad, as it is the start of the kiai after all)

00:59:151 (4,5,6) - Consider making "4" a repeat slider followed by a single note where the current slider "6" ends. Personally I feel this fits really well with the lyrics while also making 01:00:484 - clickable as it is a somewhat strong sound, as opposed to it being a sliderend

01:00:929 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Hmm I believe this rhythm doesn't quite follow the sounds as well as it could. Consider something like this, or if that is unappealing to you, consider making the current rhythm a little denser at least

01:20:484 (1,2) - Consider mapping the 1/2 note between these (and/or the one between 01:21:373 (2,3) - ). I get that the song is winding down somewhat, but there are some piano sounds here that could be mapped and in my opinion the current rhythm doesn't really fit to any particular sounds in the map

00:02:929 (2,3) - Maybe consider mapping the triple here, it sounds somewhat awkward when the previous one is mapped, even if this one is significantly softer

00:04:929 (4,5) - Consider curving these more to make them a little prettier, perhaps something like this.

00:08:262 (2,3,4) - Hmm I'm not sure about the flow and arrangement of these notes either, it travels a little strangely from the end of slider "1". Consider something a bit more conventional like this.

00:12:707 (3,1) - Why is 00:11:818 (3,1) - a jump when this isn't? The slider at 00:12:929 (1) - is on the downbeat, has a stronger sound, and has a finish hitsound, so the logical choice for the higher spacing would be there in my opinion.

00:19:151 (3,4,5,6) - Hmm, I'm not sure. Representing the 1/6 (if that's what that is) isn't quite done well as the triple ends a little after the sound itself, and the piano stream (while being gentle volume wise) isn't really fully represented either. Perhaps a continuation of the repeat slider pattern would be a somewhat better representation of the music in this section, up to you

00:21:596 (5,6) - Consider deleting these notes and placing "1" under "4". There isn't an actual triple here in the music (that I can hear at least) and the filler rhythm takes away from the emphasis of the vocal here, particularly when there are many more actual triples in the song that are far more obvious, and mapped as well

Consider something like this, which I personally find much more visually appealing. It may require extensive adjustment of the following notes, however, I do honestly feel that the current pattern needs a touch up. I leave it to your discretion

00:57:373 (1,2,3,4) - Due to the stack, the distance from 1->2 is greater than the distance from 5->1, which should not be the case in my opinion, as 1 is a much stronger beat. If stacking is turned off in the editor, this discrepancy is not visible.

Consider something like this, or if that is unappealing to you, consider making the current rhythm a little denser at least not making the rhythm denser because player needs a break after previous segment and it serves the stripped back instrumental

01:20:484 (1,2) - Consider mapping the 1/2 note between these (and/or the one between 01:21:373 (2,3) - ). I get that the song is winding down somewhat, but there are some piano sounds here that could be mapped and in my opinion the current rhythm doesn't really fit to any particular sounds in the map here i would rather have it wind down and just follow the big drum notes on each white tick after the previous segment

Perhaps a continuation of the repeat slider pattern would be a somewhat better representation of the music in this section, up to you the strum is also 1/4 so i decided to go with clickable 1/4 for the triplet, continuing the repeat slider would break my consistency

info about the top diff for modders and players
  1. Riko's vocal sliders are curved and Reg's are red ticks because he is a robot and she is not a robot
  2. a lot of the major patterns are based on moving from the top to the bottom of the screen ala climbing into the abyss 00:06:484 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4) - 01:26:929 (1,2,1,2) - 00:52:040 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2)
  3. the beginning vocals are lightly segmented into the top and bottom of the screen, with Riko's starting at the top 00:14:707 - because she starts at the top of the abyss and Reg's starting from the bottom 00:21:818 - because he starts from the bottom of the abyss
  4. the map ends with a sharp descent to the bottom of the screen because of the previously stated themes 01:26:929 (1,2,1,2) -
  5. all of these things are quite loose in their application but i hope they are nevertheless noticed and appreciated

I do think an Easy is required since nerfing the diff into the ground isn't very nice.
- 00:18:484 (1) - 00:26:040 (1) - I think it might be better to map more accurately to the music rather than cover these sections with spinners (specifically background sounds). The first one misses a vocal beat at 00:19:151 while the second one the held vocal stops at 00:27:151. If you want at least one spinner in this diff, then you could probably get away with keeping the first one, but start it at 00:19:151, or place it 01:20:484 like in Hard.

Second layer
- 00:16:262 (5,6,1) - Minor thing, I would arrange the circles to follow the curve of the slider rather than make a straight line, just so it looks a bit neater.
- 00:17:151 - Any particular reason for missing this beat? I feel like you might as well map this if the vocals are being followed, and if you mapped 00:18:040.
- 00:30:707 (3) - Is a loop necessary? In my opinion I don't like these kinds of sliders where the loop isn't clear (no visible hole) since players tend to play them in an unintended way (leaving their cursor still on the loop part) or maybe even get confused by them. There's not much room to make a proper loop with a visible hole, however.
- 01:00:929 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Repeating the same sort of motion over these two combos seemed to stick out in a boring kind of way to me. I think this could work well if you reversed the direction of the second combo somehow.

VINXIS layer
- 00:22:707 (4,5) - This 1/4 jump seems a bit of a stretch for this difficulty and sounds to me.
- 00:54:707 (1,2) - A Ctrl+G on this would fit better to me since I don't think the large jump through 00:54:262 (2,1) really helps to emphasise anything properly.

kusano layer
- Is this diff supposed to have different combo colours?
- 00:50:484 (2,3) - Would be better as a triple like 00:57:596 (2,3,4) so that you don't miss the snare I think. The blue tick vocals isn't significant enough like the other times to leave it as is either.

Bottom layer

Given the added difficulty elements, I really don't feel like this is a reasonable enough spread, and I recommend adding another diff in between this and kusano's too (kusano and VINXIS's were very comfortable FCs for me, but this I can only barely pass after a couple of attempts).
- 00:03:484 (7) - I would say that this sort of rhythm would be better so that you map that weird clap thing on the white tick, and so there's less of a gap before the next combo.
- 00:44:040 (1,2,3) - Would've liked to see more spacing between these to match with the build up better.
- 00:52:040 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - What is this spike for aaaaaaaa. I think there's way too much going on through here in terms of movement that it feels less like playing according to the song and more just a big difficult mess. I would at least keep 00:52:040 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) this part somewhat similar since this is all part of the same vocal melody (maybe keep it as the ladder thing like the first 4 notes but keep the spacing increase) so that change at 00:52:929 (1,2,1,2) supports the dropped vocals and high pitched violins. 00:53:040 (2,2) don't even seem to be supported by music but I want to give a benefit of the doubt for adding extra emphasis for the build up/vioins.

00:54:707 (1,2) - i think that its not just the large jump playing here but also the visual symmetry that is put in place because of the patterning done that emphasizes it much more than just the spacing also this plays rly sex so i dont wanna change it >: /

If you want at least one spinner in this diff, then you could probably get away with keeping the first one, but start it at 00:19:151, or place it 01:20:484 like in Hard. both spinners are after the vocals: it's not meant to be a spinner over the held vocal, the parts without vocals have less emphasis in the song and to represent the lack of intensity/give the player a break without it literally being a break, i made them both spinners. they're consistent and the same length and both end on vital points with a finish with enough recovery time for the next object, i don't see why these are an issue.

Second layer
- 00:16:262 (5,6,1) - Minor thing, I would arrange the circles to follow the curve of the slider rather than make a straight line, just so it looks a bit neater. all the triples in the map are like this (asides from the ones that are stacked) and it looks/flows fine so i don't want to break consistency
- 00:17:151 - Any particular reason for missing this beat? I feel like you might as well map this if the vocals are being followed, and if you mapped 00:18:040. i wanted to emphasize the piano: i'm not really particularly trying to follow the vocal here, the reason i map 00:18:040 (3) - is because there has to be some sort of lead into the next rhythm at 00:18:262 - or it would be awkward. i could change this pattern if you really want me to, but it would make the map worse so i don't want to unless i have to
- 00:30:707 (3) - Is a loop necessary? In my opinion I don't like these kinds of sliders where the loop isn't clear (no visible hole) since players tend to play them in an unintended way (leaving their cursor still on the loop part) or maybe even get confused by them. There's not much room to make a proper loop with a visible hole, however. the two slider ticks make it very very clear where the loop is, and i really don't think it'll be confusing to any player, i can get some testplays on the hard if that helps? i just don't see this being an issue at all really and removing it just makes the map more boring
- 01:00:929 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Repeating the same sort of motion over these two combos seemed to stick out in a boring kind of way to me. I think this could work well if you reversed the direction of the second combo somehow. the purpose of this pattern is to explicitly outline the concept of the map: the first vocalist's sliders are lines 01:00:929 (1,2,3,4) - and the second vocalist's are curves 01:02:707 (1,2,3,4) - i could switch the direction of the pattern but it would be awkward and confusing

Bottom layer
=== The gap between this diff and the previous diffs is pretty significant. Given the added difficulty elements, I really don't feel like this is a reasonable enough spread, and I recommend adding another diff in between this and kusano's too (kusano and VINXIS's were very comfortable FCs for me, but this I can only barely pass after a couple of attempts). VINXIS's diff is much harder than kusano's from an objective standpoint and introduces every concept used in the top diff at a lower level: 1/4 highly spaced movement, higher density, and overall rhythm complexity with stuff like the doubles rhythms he uses. Despite the star rating disparity, there is MORE than enough introduction of the concepts used in the top diff in the set, and making an overstarred insane just for the sake of trying to fill a spread by star rating would both bloat the set and be completely unnecessary. i hope you can understand my perspective on why the spread is ok, if you want to talk more about it we can. i can lower the ar and hp of my diff if that helps?
- 00:03:484 (7) - I would say that this sort of rhythm would be better so that you map that weird clap thing on the white tick, and so there's less of a gap before the next combo.
doesn't really fit the song very well to me.. the gap is just following the music, adding a note "dumbs down" the rhythm
- 00:44:040 (1,2,3) - Would've liked to see more spacing between these to match with the build up better. spaced them a little more
- 00:52:040 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - What is this spike for aaaaaaaa. I think there's way too much going on through here in terms of movement that it feels less like playing according to the song and more just a big difficult mess. I would at least keep 00:52:040 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) this part somewhat similar since this is all part of the same vocal melody (maybe keep it as the ladder thing like the first 4 notes but keep the spacing increase) so that change at 00:52:929 (1,2,1,2) supports the dropped vocals and high pitched violins. 00:53:040 (2,2) don't even seem to be supported by music but I want to give a benefit of the doubt for adding extra emphasis for the build up/vioins.

this is the most intense part of the entire song, in the middle of the most intense section so it makes sense for it to be the hardest pattern in the map: this is not a jumbled mess, this is very comfortable 1/4 flow and a completely justified peak in intensity in the map. there is a constant 1/4 in the background that it is following that becomes more emphasized when the spacing increases if you're wondering how the pattern is supported by music. you
say there is "too much going on here in terms of movement" but i really don't think that's the case at all, it's completely reasonable to expect the player to be able to handle this after the clear introduction of the spaced 1/4 at 00:31:151 - how come THIS pattern isn't too much while this one is? multiple testplays from a varied amount of skill levels have hit both of these patterns consistently on sightread/after one play because they are well arranged, set up well within the context of the map and are overall reasonable movements to ask of the player: everyone from xilver to rlc was able to play them so i really do not think the pattern is too much, especially not when the entire map is built around it existing

- 00:43:818 - Expected this to be clickable since your rhythm so far seems to imply following the vocals, and since the vocals are extra important here I would've kept to it.
- 01:01:929 - Similar thing. Each of the vocal notes in this section seems to be mapped to something clickable apart from this one, so it makes 01:02:040 (6) - stick out too.
- 01:18:707 (1,1,1,1) - If you care about stacking then you could fix these if you wanted, first two are off by a tiny amount but it's nazi so /shrug

I still don't fully agree with that one section in the top diff though. 00:31:151 is more acceptable to me because at least the spaced parts follow roughly a smooth path without a bunch of sharp angles everywhere like a more conventional stream, while 00:52:040 you're changing directions and speeds a lot. Since the spread is actually fixed though, it's probably more acceptable, but I do find it hard to believe that it's intuitive enough for as large a skill level as you claim.

I'm fine with it being pushed though even though I personally disagree with some of the choices, so you can get Delis/Karen to repair.
