So basically, I've been hating the fact that I get no indication of when someone adds me as a friend and I was wondering if a feature could be implemented that tells you when someone adds you.
Here are a few ways I think would work nicely:

1. Notification PM by banchobot or a message visible to you only in #announce. or the new #userlog http://osu.ppy.sh/forum/p/2075711

2. Another field below the offline users field in settings that shows users which have you added.

3. on the users profile page display (has added you) above the become friends button. http://osu.ppy.sh/forum/t/99627/

It's a simple feature I'd really like to see and I know others would too.

Great idea but if this was gonna be a thing their must be a toggle option to disable the request's too, I would feel bad for players such as Astar who would get friend request's every minute.

show followers would be nice like twitter, if notifs are annoying.

Not supporting this. But I think "follower" should take "friend"'s place huh. :P

Make an option to

1) friend someone

2) follow someone

On the new page your friends are displayed as "x followers". I think the option to just follow someone to see his scores etc. is nice, but a friend option coupled with the suggestion made here would be really nice to have, too.
