I am pretty good at Geometry Dash (Can beat hard demons) but I want to know if GD skills translate to Osu! And if they do translate what area would i be at since I feel like I'm very bad at the game, or that's just me.

I guess your memory and reaction time could help 'cause from my understanding that's what Geometry Dash requires to be good at it.

below 1 star osu is gd easy
1 star osu is gd normal
2 star osu is gd hard
3 star osu is gd harder
4 star osu is gd insane (it even says insane in osu)
5 star osu is gd easy demon
6 star osu is gd hard demon
7 star osu is gd extreme demon
8 star osu? Maybe gd Bloodbath (not so impossible extreme demon)
9 star osu? Maybe gd Tartarus
10 star osu? Maybe gd Slaughterhouse (almost impossible extreme demon)
I know... These two are very different games, but If you play as much time in gd as in osu, You can quite predict what you can do in osu. I play osu for 3 months and (as I remember) I was able to beat some harder levels that time. Like 3 star osu beatmaps.

There's a whole ass debate whether GD should be considered rhythm game or not, that alone shows how little GD levels care about the actual core gameplay, which is about following the music, in the first place. As Reyalp already said, most top demons are hard just for the sake of being hard, while in osu, timing always comes before difficulty. We don't care if your map is hard as fuck or if it's gimmicky, if your timing is wrong it's considered trash.
Besides, all the 4 gamemodes has their own set of skills that GD alone ain't sufficient, but that'd open another can of worms that I'd rather you find out in due time.
