Well most of us did start playing osu! with mouse so I don't see why it would be a problem now

Whether you're using a mouse or using a pen the game is making you move in a way you normally never have to so it's just a matter of adapting and learning. There's no real advantage one has over another.

You just have to play and you'll get better every day, whatever you choose to use. Personally I own a drawing tablet and I still use a mouse in osu just because I don't feel like switching over and I find mouse more enjoyable!

What is the advantage in weight? Are you telling me mouse can't go fast? Cus there sure as hell are a lot of examples where mouse is just as fast as a tablet pen.

I have no idea on how mouse compare to tablet while playing osu!. I'm too bad/new for this.
As N0thing said it's purely answering kondou's comment. Modern optic mouse if not pushed too insane DPI settings are really precise tools.

Actually it is a disputable advantage. Resistance is not a bad thing, weight reduces speed but increases control. Reduced weight only gives an advantage to a certain point then it becomes a matter of preference.Emersyne wrote:

Tablet users sometimes drag to increase resistance, reduce speed and increase control. Mouse users usually have less shaky aim because they have higher control due to higher peripheral weight.
